Mom: Is this just not comfortable? It’s kind of small; Kobe has to turn too much. He needs just a really big mattress. (About one of his mattresses)
Mom: You’re not layering his food right. It needs to be rice, then turkey. Mix that up, and then put the raw veggies on top, because he likes to chew his veggies.
Mom: Oh! I want to go make him some (organic) celery with (organic) peanut butter!
Me: You really don’t have to do that; I made him a big dinner.
Mom: I know, but I bought the organic celery just for him!
And she says she doesn't want a dog . . .

hahahaha...love it! your dog has some gourmet food...my dogs would be in HEAVEN at your house! :o)
I suspect that dog eats better than I do...sort of depressing...
Yeah, don't worry; he eats better than all of us, I'm thinking. I also go through phases where I spend more time cooking for him and getting his food ready than my own! The vet said that would likely happen . . .
Taylor, he does have a pretty good life! Homemade food, at least two walks a day, beach/pool time, etc. Oh! That reminds of another thing to add:
Mom: He can't have Brita water--that tastes HORRIBLE! Give him the reverse-osmosis or alkaline water; he can't have water that tastes bad!
I had to overrule that one, because Brita water is JUST FINE for a dog. =)
I think that most dogs just drink tap water...
Or toilet water.
