Semi-recently I asked when you felt like an adult, and I've got another to add to the list of TiVo'ing cooking shows and asking for nice kitchen knives for Christmas: picking up my suits from the dry cleaners after a business trip. I feel like I'm totally faking this being-an-adult thing 99% of the time, until doing things like that.
Any new "Feel Like An Adult" things to add to your list?

We totally had a feel-like-an-adult moment this week. We were driving by Mililani high school and classes had just ended because waves of teenagers were going to the shopping center parking lot where we were and Jacob said while trying to avoid them: "D*** these high school kids!" And I was like, "All they're doing is crossing the street. You used to be one of the really bad ones, remember?"
Hee! You two are so funny.
Paying Bills, that always makes me feel old. I guess it's a good thing I leave most of that to Tag:)
Had one on the other day when, in a phone conversation with my mom, I said, "Oh, that day isn't good. I'm in court all day that day."
Weird. But good.
Being an adult is good, even though I definitely feel like I'm faking it all of the time.
Here in NY, I give myself away as a non-adult all of the time by being fascinated by the rain (seriously, how can so much rain fall in one day? CRAZINESS!), the trains, and the cartscalators. (It's an escalator! For a SHOPPING CART! It's AWESOME!!)
Tracy, that's a good one! And smart woman. One of the many reasons why we're friends. I feel that a bit, too, especially paying the really mundane bills like car registration or car insurance.
Liz, I love your weird--but good!--one. I also love how much you type just like you talk and I can HEAR your comments in my head. It's fantastic. Yeah, rain not in Utah is pretty much real rain. It's cool. Living in Utah was the weirdest thing for me, rain-wise. It'd be, like, five minutes a day, every two or three days. Just enough to wet your car before wind would blow dust all over it. Awesome when you've got a black SUV.
I used to hear my parents talkign about the "cafateria plan" and think they were talking about how much money it took for us kids to eat school lunch in the cafateria at the elementary school. I never thought thier conversations made any sense. Sad Im the one thinking about the cafateria now...
