Bachelorette Musings

How could I possibly forget posting a picture of JP last week? How lame am I? Anyway, here you go. He's adorable. Loved him on the date, and I loved that he brought Ashley flowers after she so stupidly was such a wreck after Bentley left. She's an idiot. Hopefully she gets smarter and realizes she has some great guys--like JP!

Favorite things from last night's ep or the watching of last night's ep?

The use of "dot dot dot"--actually spelling out . . . --was fantastic.

Sister Gibby's, "Can I unhook my bra now?" as she walked into the room. "Well, I couldn't at FHE."

Me: "Are you going to get up and stand in front of the TV?"
Gibby: "No, I unhooked my bra."

Sister Ferguson brought cupcakes she made from scratch, and Sister Linton brought See's suckers while we watched The Sucker, Ashley, be suckered in my Bentley. Sheesh.

I kind of love Ben C but, then again, I have a soft sport for kind attorneys. He's a good guy.

I'm bummed she sent Chris, the Scott Foley look-alike, home. He was dreamy.

The mask guy was better looking than I was expecting, but I'm glad he was sent home!

Your thoughts?

(p.s. to those of you watching with us last night--isn't it amazing how much one person can completely change the dynamic of a group? eeeshk. sorry!)

I like JP and Ben C! I can't figure out Bentley...I'm sure they are doing some voice editing on him, but I'm glad he's gone...for now.

Glad the mask guy is gone. He was awful.

I was surprised how little emotion she showed sending Chris home, like she felt nothing for him whatsoever.

I admit Ben C. grew on me a little after his date but I still don't think he's attractive.

I loved how JP and Ryan P. were the ones to swoop in and make her feel better after those losers made her cry.

At least one of the losers is gone. I had a feeling she'd keep the other one around.

I haven't watched any episodes until last night's, mostly because I heard it was going to be interesting and I knew that you were watching.

Anyway, I missed the beginning of the episode, so when the mask guy was talking about this being his first rose ceremony without his mask, I thought he was speaking metaphorically. Alas, he wasn't.

When she sent home Chris, I thought, aw, Laura will be sad to be missing her Foley-esque fix each week.

Also, Ashley cries a lot. Maybe she needs to be on a healing, confidence-gaining therapy help show before she tries to find love on TV. There's probably a show perfect for her...can't think of it right now, but they have shows for everything!

o.m.g. i hate that girl. my favorite line by her was "i'm afraid this won't work" - ummm, have you watched the previous seasons? not all those girls are happily married... stupid. but, i did really like JP. the producers of this show are so terrible though... it is all SO fake.

I always make the mistake of going to reality steve dot com and finding out the play by play of every single episode and even the final rose. I'm terrible at being surprised. So glad Bentley is gone (for now), Reality Steve had some very interesting info on him. I can't believe that guy went to BYU! I really like JP and Ben C too. They both seem so sweet.

Maggie, the "for now" is the ridiculous part! And yet, we can't not watch!

Wendy, I don't necessarily think Ben C. is attractive, but I do think he's a really good guy. He's that guy who might become attractive the more you get to know him.

Liz, ha ha! I adore you. "I thought he was speaking metaphorically. Alas, he wasn't." That may be my next Facebook status.

Brooke, you're totally right: it's SO fake! That's half the fun of watching the show.

Tracy, I'm all over RealitySteve.com. I usually try and stay away from the full-season spoilers, but I often break down and read them the week or two before the finale airs. I got hooked on RS when the Jason/Molly/Melissa stuff was going down--he's right a majority of the time and I love that he's calling the show out on its manipulative, scripted, fake crap. The EP is SLEAZE. But it's still the best two hours I waste every week.

Sister Gibby had some great one-liners, as did Ben F. My favorite part of the evening was definitely "You've had all of 15 minutes to talk to this girl and it's like, 'BOOP, here's my face, you have small ****!'" Loved it!

I hate to admit it, but it is the best two hours I waste as well. Glad I'm not the only one hooked on RS.
