. . . when you get to a place, you realize you're going to be there for a few hours (say, the testing center, or the library . . . recent examples that come to mind), and then you realize you forgot your chapstick.
Kind of like Holly's now-classic quote: "I can't take a test if my lips are chapped. The conditions have to be perfect."

So true!! Sometimes I get to school with no chapstick, and I might as well not be there--I'm not going to learn anything with lips in that condition!
