Really, though?
My post--and the comments--on my post about the gentleman wearing denim shorts really has spurred another thought in my head: why do guys wear denim shorts at all? Really, though? Not a good look. I passed a guy today in the Tanner wearing a look not dissimilar from UnfashionableOldGuy at the gym a couple weeks ago: denim shorts, mid-calf white socks, sneakers, and some big t-shirt. It was just so many kinds of wrong. Really, though?

I think that, no matter what kind of shorts you are wearing, mid-calf white socks will be a bad idea.
I'm not a fashion expert by any stretch of the imagination, but I feel pretty confident in that one fashion rule.
