Cinnamon Apple Beignet (French Toast, I believe) from The Ramos House Cafe in San Juan Capistrano. http://www.ramoshouse.com/ We went there with Jami and Jessica Ward the Friday before Jess went into the MTC.
It was SO GOOD! The herbs they use are grown right there and make everything super good. They also have home-churned mint chocolate chip ice cream that is unlike anything I've had before--'twas awesome.
Ummm, I may or may not have clicked on the photo because the small version just wasn't big enough to take in the full glory of that dish. *drool*
Why don't we get a bunch of the girls there for breakfast some Saturday? Om nom nom...

And p.s. Christa, you're totally right: the picture on the blog is WAY too small; clicking for the full-size picture is pretty much a necessity. I'm drooling just looking at it, and I haven't gotten anything other than apple juice to stay down in 24 hours--the food looks THAT good!
