There are so many reasons to go to the home ward Enrichment. Some folks asked Mom and me to play the guitar and sing, they were honoring "Angels Among Us," they had amazing food, they had gone all out in decorating the tables, they had a throne with wings and feather-boa tiaras, the ward's stacked with the most amazing ladies . . . seriously, super fun. But I think my favorite part was the raspberry butter. Mom and I both dished up two plate's worth of salad, but we also stole another table's butter because we went through ours way too quickly. Seriously. I just got the recipe tonight:
1 lb softened butter
8 oz raspberry preserves
8 oz honey
1 tsp vanilla
Whip softened butter until very light and fluffy. Use a whipping paddle if possible. Whip in honey. Whip in raspberry preserves. Keep refrigerated.
