One of our dear friends, Jocelyn, got a kick out of the Fanny Pack story (posted as Mom's status update on Facebook a couple weeks ago).
So it could not have been more perfect that when Jocelyn dropped by yesterday for a few minutes, Mom just so happened to be wearing said hot pink fanny pack (with black trim!) around the house.
Seriously? It was a fantastic moment.

Seriously what could your mom have been doing around the house that necessitated a fanny pack? I know you girls like to sunbathe but you can't just walk around in a bathing suit all day without pockets. It has consequences. Dire consequences.
Ha ha! Wendy, we don't "sunbathe" as much as "get our Vitamin D." =) But yes, dire consequences.
Seriously, though, she didn't have pockets, so she needed something to hold the iPod so she could rehearse for OCMCO while working around the house.
I got her a clip mp3 player for Christmas (and I know she'll never read this, so I can announce that to all 12 of you!), so hopefully the fanny pack will come out less often.
Part II, yet I have still not seen any pictures! What's wrong with this??
Liz, you're so right. I'll get on it.
Getting vitamin D is just cover for tanning. Don't be embarrassed, it can be quite the spiritual experience if I recall correctly the BEST TALK EVER given at our student ward in Liberty Square.
If it were a cover for tanning, wouldn't I be at least partially tan? Even a teeny, tiny bit? Seriously, it's all about the Vitamin D. I even go to this website where you calculate, based on your longitude and latitude, the day of the year, the time of day, etc. how much sun you need for your body to produce enough Vitamin D for the day.
Nerdy, I know. But super cool.
But that really was the BEST TALK EVER, about how the Gospel is JUST LIKE SUN TANNING. Perfection.
Ooh what's the link for that website?
The Vitamin D calculator is here:

The link on Mercola's site (from which I got the link for the Vitamin D calculator) is here, and gives sites that help with some of the inputs (longitude/latitude, etc.):
