I got an email from my boss this week, with this post-script:
"P.S. You've adopted the Graham school of voicemail box management -- it's full."
Very true. Full, and has been full for over a week.
See, here's the thing. I have wonderful friends who leave me voice messages that range anywhere from hilarious to sweet to insightful to blog-worthy, and sometimes all in the same message. So I save messages.
What am I doing right now? Recording the saved messages with my digital voice recorder so I can finally delete some messages and make room for some more fantastically awesome voice messages in the near future.
So please, feel free to call and leave funny messages if I don't pick up. I'll love you all the more for it.

Now I feel a lot of pressure. If I call you and your voicemail picks up, I'll feel like I need to leave you a witty/charming/delightful message.
Liz, surely you know by now that I think pretty much everything that comes out of your mouth is hilarious (the other part of everything is insightful or interesting). So, just by being you, you could fit all of the criteria listed in the post. Seriously, no pressure. You're awesome.
Laura,
remeber what gmail did for email. No more need to worry about a full email inbox. Google has done it again with google voice. I love it. Typing from phone now but when I get on my computer I'll check and see if I have any invites. It will change your life.
This Google Voice thing sounds interesting--I'd love to learn more about it. Thanks!
