A Bit Sad

My mom just called saying my dog is at Urgent Care; he is probably going to have surgery soon. I'm so sad! He's so far away and I can't be there! I hope he makes it through this. . .

I hope he'll be okay! Some issue with the glands in his butt. (I'm not kidding) They're infected, inflamed, and I guess very tender! They might have to do surgery. =( They've done one round of antibiotics, but it came back right after he was off them (as if I don't already have enough issues with antibiotics . . .); now he's on Round 2. If that doesn't kick it (and let's be honest here . . . that's not looking at the cause!), then surgery will likely be necessary. Poor little guy! He's too cute for all this! The urgent care vet did say to my mom, "I've never seen a 9-year-old dog with THIS much energy before!" So true! Kerry, you know this. =)
