Books, DVDs, and More Books--Oh My!

Given my love for books, DVDs, and even more books, Amazon Prime might just be the DEATH of me. Anyone else have it? Love it? Overuse it? Ahem.

LOVE IT! We have it too and I've gotten so lazy when it comes to shopping, I've purchased tons of baby stuff from amazon.

Have it. Love it. Order things as I please at random times. Definitely not good...

I don't know what Amazon Prime is but thanks for the article you sent! It's nice to review and get validation for what I'm going through. So what is Amazon Prime?

Bre, you're about to have twins. I think that's the definition of being allowed to "be lazy" and order everything you could ever need so it can be conveniently shipped to your home. Major props to you.

Liz, I think I've made, like, five or six orders in a month already. Sheesh.

Wendy, aw! You're welcome, loverly! Amazon Prime is a sort of upgraded Amazon membership, I guess. I don't know. But you pay $80 a year and, with that, you get free 2-day shipping on everything from Amazon that qualifies (read: everything that previously qualified for "free shipping on orders over $25" qualifies). So, no more waiting until I've got $25 worth of stuff to make an order; I just click and order whenever I "need" something. That's just been the problem, though--I've been "needing" lots of books.

Amazon even sent me an email yesterday, "Since you're an avid reader, we recommend these books."

Snap!

That's pretty sweet. I heard from someone that you can also order diapers from Amazon? Sounds crazy but it's supposed to be an awesome deal. Either way, love that website.

You know I'm not a diaper-buyer, but I've bought all sorts of crazy things on Amazon, from supplements and ear cleaners for my dog to NEMO KITES!

Oh Laura. The very thought of buying books makes my blood run cold. I have a thing about owning books. Can't do it. I attribute it to the Waldram genes, although I don't really know why or how. Clutter, girlfriend. Books are a storage issue! We can discuss at length the next time we are together. Hey, when will that be, anyway?!!?

Molly, I love the Waldram genes that are just raging . . . I can relate, but I'm also too much of a book-lover for those genes to take over my life. I LOVE books. Having two bookshelves is not enough, though; I may have to get a third soon. Darn Amazon Prime.

I'm coming up for the reunion in July or whenever it is, and I'm hoping to make it up to Utah another time before that, but we'll see how finances work out. When are you guys coming down to Sandy Eggo?
