Beauty and the Beast

I'm apparently trying to set a record for how long I can be really sick with a cold. What kind of record is this? Anyway, my friend Morgan (and group member in two of my classes) has had to deal with my sexy phlegm (FRIENDS reference!) coughing and sneezing and being plugged up the last couple of days at school. She emailed asking if there was anything she could do. Knowing her love of Disney movies, I asked if she had Beauty and the Beast; she didn't, but said she'd pick it up from the library that day and drop it off--how sweet is that?

LittleSister came over to watch it (she's been cute and checking up on me every day, bringing over movies and cookies--you're the best, LS!), and it was so fun! Then Maggie came over after a date, and she said a classic line. Maggs, the same disclaimer you said to me in your latest blog applies to you here. This is all said in love, with a side of laughter.

Referring to the Disney animated classics of our childhood: "Those movies made me who I am today." Maggie, we heart you! (and feel free to leave the context in the comments)

Ha! It's so true! I mean seriously I decided that it's because of Belle that I pranced around my house when I was little saying, "Bonjour!" to everyone. Now I've lived in Paris for 4 months, I'm minoring in French, and I'm studying Gothic cathedrals. Thanks Belle! (and Disney!)

Liz, you're so sweet! Thanks, but I'll be fine; it just won't go away quickly! Maybe I shouldn't go to school for a week. =)
