A brief explanation: Marla and were neighbors at Fluer-de-Lis; we both hated it and were so excited to move into Timpanogos Gateway together. So this was the night we moved in, and she was trying to get her douvet cover to look good. It just wasn't happening. I think, at this point, she said, "There's something wrong with my bed!"
I love this photo because Marla was hilarious and such a fantastic roommate. And I don't just say that because she baked cookies every week. She was just awesome. She's the one who gave me that print of my favorite painting that I recently had framed for graduation (look back in the blog a couple of months to see it).
That was a good year. We did takeout at PF Chang's every Saturday night, ordering enough for Sunday, too. =)
