Gasp!
On Tuesday, Mom and I spent a bunch of time at a polling location for our work with Prop 8. As such, we didn't eat our usual fare: a salad. We're used to eating at least one huge salad a day and, I've got to admit, that day-without-a-salad thing really threw me off. People sometimes tease us when they see us eating our salads out of serving bowls. Yes, we each fill up a serving bowl and that's our salad--we eat lots of food around here. =) So I'm curious: What are YOUR favorite salads? Talk to me.

My favorite salad is really contingent upon the toppings. I like a good salad bar where I can pick lots of toppings. Brick Oven doesn't necessarily have the best lettuce, but you can put all kinds of stuff on it: pineapple, peas, beans, cheese, eggs, meats, etc. I only need to have salad when I go there--I get all my veggies and proteins all in one swoop with ranch dressing.
Not the fanciest salad by any stretch of the imagination, but yum!
Now I'm going to crave that for a while...
Ooooh, I do enjoy a good salad bar! I think Claim Jumper has my favorite (all-you-can-eat) salad bar.
Seriously, folks? No favorite salads? Seriously? Seriously?!
I've got, like, twenty. Maybe I'll blog about that.
