Heh. Okay, not really. But sorta.Yesterday my friend, Christa, came over for a few minutes to pick some herbs from my herb garden for a pot roast. She started saying something along the lines of, "So you know how you blogged about stopping completely at the stop sign because of cops?" (I'm butchering your quote, Christa--sorry!) I went a little cold thinking that my friend, dropping by to pick herbs, got a ticket for rolling through the stop sign.
"I'm so glad I paid attention to your blog because I stopped completely, and then, as I started to turn, saw a cop right there, looking at me."
PHEW! I was so relieved she wasn't pulled over and given a ticket.
Folks, I'm really not being dramatic here. My "Laura Stops" are in existence for a reason: we have cops crawling all over our three-way stop at Turtle Park. It's just the way it is. If you're swinging by to visit me, Kobe, or pick some herbs, please stop completely. That way, my blog becomes a good ol' PSA and can help people.

Hahaha, I love that you blogged this!!! Seriously, though, SO TRUE. I was so, so grateful for your PSA! Keep up the good work, friend (and thanks again for those herbs - dinner was lovely!).
Good, I'm glad you liked the herbs! There's plenty more if future awesome recipes call for herbs.
And yes, it is so true. I'll never get over the time I saw a cop there hand out THREE tickets in the time I was walking Kobe one evening.
