Not The Brightest Bulb VIII

Last night I went to the gym with Christina for a bit. I try to say this as nonchalantly as possible, but really, it's been MONTHS since I've been to the gym. I think I've finally come to the realization that, without LittleSister especially, but also Holly, Lisa, Marla, or other folks from TG, I hate going to the gym. I hope I get over this (help, Christina!).

One thing I should remember for future reference--since I've barely been able to move my arms today--is that, when returning to the gym after a months-long absence, it'd be smart for me to stay away from the tricep machine with 120lbs like I'm used to doing WHEN I'VE BEEN GOING TO THE GYM CONSISTENTLY FOR MONTHS AND MONTHS. You know, build back up to where I used to be. None of this dive-right-back-in stuff.

My arms are like jelly right now. And I'm clearly not the brighest bulb.

It's just like that time I did 50 pushups (and not the female kind) after not having done any for a while; yeah, that didn't go very well.

Good for you! I've never been a fan of "easing back in" myself.

Why ease back in? That's boring!
