Today I went to the Oceanside 4th Ward to hear the Shupes give their farewell talks. They head to Albania on Saturday for an 18-month mission. They are, quite possibly, the most incredible couple I know: equally yoked, wonderfully spiritual, amazingly dynamic . . . I could go on for years. Seriously. Albania is pretty much the luckiest place in the world right now.
Bishop Shupe, we'll miss . . . this. =)

I am sorry I missed their farwell. Glad you were able to make it.
I got to sit by Carol Bahouth, which made it all the more fun. But we were sitting there during their talks, just transported back to when Shupe was bishop; they're the most amazing people and such amazing speakers, so it was great to see them and feel that same great feeling all over again.
