We Sounded Like MoTab

Yesterday, Graham (my former boss/President/CEO/Founder, though I refer to him as all those in the present tense) played the organ in the SC5th, rocking out the hymns and also whipping up a special musical number. He's an incredible organist, so it made the meeting extra fun (it's okay for Sacrament Meeting to be fun, right?). During the closing hymn, "Praise to the Lord, the Almighty," he did this awesome interlude in between the third and fourth verses, and also orchestrated this sweet key change--it was so cool! Then he started rocking out with a Bach fugue for the postlude. Christina said, "Dang! I thought our ward sounded like MoTab today!" 'Twas fun!

I didn't know it was that Graham! He's young!

Will he be performing again? I'm bummed I missed it!

Oh wow, that's absolutely fabulous! Our organist is not as accomplished, unfortunately. Maybe he could go on tour to wards across the country, eh?

I totally thought the same thing!!! I could hardly believe it was still the same ol' organ and all of us. I got goosebumps! Tell him thanks for making the music extra-special yesterday!
