Everyone Needs A Wendy

Instead of getting ready for church right now, I'm still laughing at some things Wendy said during our conversation this morning. Here are some classics:

"Whenever I do get pregnant, they're gonna have to knock me out for the birth. I don't wanna be awake, I don't wanna be there . . . I don't think that's unreasonable."

"I just don't want to be the parent of an ugly baby. Does that make me shallow?"

When I told Wendy that's the same thing my sister used to say, she responded,

"See, your sister is really hot, and her baby is super cute."

I s'pose that does help.

But my favorite Wendy part of this last week? Getting random texts asking for tips on how to play Zelda of the original NES fame. Go Wendy.

I'm amazed my comments justified a blog post by you. I am super flattered right now.

P.S. You forgot that I want the baby delivered 3 months after birth so it's past the "ugly phase."

Gotta say, I agree with those wendy-isms.

And I also agree with the comment about the 3 month thing--nature confuses you so that you think the baby is gorgeous, but really, brand-new babies are pretty freaky looking.

Wendy, and Liz, I love you guys so much. Hilarity always, when you two are around (or blog-commenting).
