Yay for craigslist!

In all of our de-junking and garage-cleaning-out-ing, we had a problem: we didn't want to hold on to an extra dryer. Solution? I posted it on craigslist, and we got a buyer who paid tonight and will pick it up when he moves into his new place on Saturday. Sweet! Another problem? My lack of a job and $$. (Temporary) Solution? Post a "Guitar lessons!" blurb on craigslist. I've now got six students! Sweet! Needless to say, I'm a big fan of craigslist right now.

Six students?! Wow! That's absolutely fabulous. I should try selling my parents teal leather couch that's been sitting in our garage for the past 2 years...but then again, maybe there's a reason it's been the garage that long. I think we've tried GIVING it away multiple times to no avail.

That is so awesome! You are so musically talented they are great skills to teach others for bucko bucks! Good for you! We post on craig's list for our business and sometimes get some clients, we love craig's list too!

Ha ha! Morgan, you are hilarious. I was just talking with a friend the other day about the color teal. The city next to us, Aliso Viejo, built up kind of around the time teal was big, so the high school has teal everywhere, and the library has teal as part of the building. Holy cow. Good luck with that couch. =)

Tara, that's such a great idea--I hadn't thought of craigslist for business development, but that's fantastic!

I'd love to hear more of what y'all use craigslist for. These are such funny/great ideas!

And p.s. If anyone's looking to take guitar lessons, or knows someone who is, keep me in mind. I'm having a blast with it.

I love craigslist too. One of the things I use it for, however, is not so nice: I love to read the jewelry listings. I don't know if it's the same everywhere, but here in Provo, there are a lot of people trying to get rid of engagement rings, and some of them write FUNNY stuff about why they broke up or whatever...often filled with bitterness, I just can't help reading them and giggling to myself. I could make popcorn and have a whole event of it.

Six students is SO IMPRESSIVE, by the way.
