Why do I say this, you ask?
I have turned on the radio randomly several times over the last few days to a station I used to enjoy back in the day--I'm not much of a radio gal, though--and quickly turned it off, saying, "What IS this crap they're playing on the radio these days?"

What is wrong with being old?
Absolutely nothing; I neither implied there was nor said there was. I'm just stating the fact that I am officially old because I called today's music "crap" and said "these days."
ah! i had a very similar moment this week when i realized i listen to NPR more than any other station! i never listened to NPR in college...
I must be old too, because I listed to NPR all the time and can't stand most of the junk on the radio...
Darn kids and their new-fangled music...
