Outdated?
After meeting my old boss for lunch (so fun!), I realized I was just a few blocks from the library, so I went over there for a couple minutes and picked up some books. I'm a nerd, so they're both business-y books. One of them is called "The Soul of the New Consumer." It was written in 2000 and I'm already feeling, at times, like, Is this outdated? Not that the concepts are outdated, but maybe just that they've changed exponentially. Anyone else feel like they'll read something and go, Wait a minute? WHEN was this written? Seriously?

All the time!!! Especially with doing research for digital media - stuff from 2006 is outdated, lol. Then again, I'm also reading a book from the 1800s that is still spot-on in its analysis of the American character, so at least the old-is-outdated concept doesn't universally apply to concepts.
