Boo-yah!

We had stake conference in the Laguna Niguel Stake yesterday (even though I'm really in the San Clemente Stake thanks to the singles ward) and we sang three Mack Wilberg arrangements in the choir--holy freaking cow! It was awesome, especially since two of the songs were unpublished arrangements with eight- to ten-part harmonies. It was so cool! I feel like I've got my usual choir buddies, too: I usually have Barbara Lamprecht on my left, and I think Cindy Reading is going to be on my right from here on out--I'm surrounded by talented folks! Very cool. I can't wait for June's conference, now. Will we do "Come Thou Fount . . ." again? "If You Could Hie to Kolob"? I can't wait to find out!
