Not cool, Airborne. Not cool.

I don't know why it took me this long to figure this out, but looking at the ingredients list on Airborne, I noticed both Sorbitol and Sucralose were listed. Seriously? Sucralose is SPLENDA, folks--I have no desire to ingest that stuff ever again or to subject my body to that chemical, so bye bye, Airborne.

I get annoyed when products are marketed as "natural" and then have ingredients in them that make any person into healthy, natural living cringe. (darn marketers!)

No wonder it had that weird aftertaste.

Now I want cookie dough . . .

Speaking of sugar and "sugar" -- Coldstone sucks.

And I know people are going to contradict that statement, but I don't care. It absolutely sucks in my eyes.

It's funny that you mention that, because I am on vacation right now, and my nephews and sister-in-law (and now brother) are all getting sick, so my sister-in-law bought a bunch of airborne and has been making everyone down in like crazy. So I had it, for the first time, and remembered you saying how great it was, and my first thought was "Huh. This tastes like Splenda. I would've thought Laura was against Splenda by nature."

And it turns out that I was right.

And you are those marketing people, by the way...you're just more righteous than a lot of them.

It makes me think of all of those print ads and commercials on TV right now about high fructose corn syrup being just like sugar and natural because it's made from corn. Nope. Nope. HFCS will screw you up big time, people, and nobody cares!!! RUN!! SAVE YOURSELVES!! (Overdramatic? I am up late...sorry...but it's true--it is REALLY bad for you.)

I like cookie dough. I don't think that that is healing in the ways that Airborne might be, but it's good emotionally, I think.

If I liked ice cream, I might like Coldstone, but seeing that I don't all that much, I s'pose I'll agree with you, Wendy.

And KENDRA! YAY! Yeah, way better.

Liz! You are ABSOLUTELY right: I am so morally opposed to Splenda, and on so many levels. (or, I have many reasons, and they were three-fold . . . actually, that last sentence is for both Kendra AND Liz).

And yes, I have to poke fun at marketers sometimes, even if I am one. Shady marketing tees me off.

Oh, and Liz? I'm laughing my HEAD off at the "RUN! SAVE YOURSELVES!" comment about HFCS. Yeah, that stuff is of the devil. And making it sound natural? Like they do with Splenda? PLEASE!

And yes, cookies are healing on so many levels, and for so many reasons. They are three-fold.
