"Or worse [than death], I could get old! Really, really old!"

Ahhhh. That's one of my favorite lines from Will & Grace that Grace shares at Stan's funeral. "I could die. We could all die. Or WORSE! I could get old! Really, really old!"

Today I was thinking about that quote. We have old neighbors. Really, really old neighbors. Normally, it's fantastic because they're quiet, don't have keggers, and keep to themselves. Lately, they've been calling a lot. Asking us to take out their trash, pick up their mail, etc. Today I caught one side of what must have been one hilarious exchange between my mom and Mrs. Goldman. I knew they were talking about toiletpaper--"Yes, we use Charmin,"--but what followed had me ROLLING. I'm quoting Mom:

"You know, you may have to use more. It may not be as thick as it used to be."

What on EARTH was Mrs. Goldman talking about that prompted THAT?!

Ahhhh. Old people.

My sister just had a post on her blog about how much she hates old people (snowbirds aka "people who come to Arizona during the winter months").

Glad to see you lie on the other side of the spectrum!
